Benefit from the 254 x 254 x 305 mm (10 x 10 x 12 in.) build envelope and the extra tough ABSplusTM material. Up to 40% stronger than regular ABS models. This combination of size and model strength will enable you to print the models you need on demand right in your own office.
Dimension 1200es printers are easy to install and operate. Ideally suited for use in any office or educational environment, the printers run unattended and operate quietly. Simply process your 3D CAD data in Catalyst®EX software and click “print”. Your design is sent to the printer and the model is printed. There are no noxious fumes or toxic materials that require venting and/or special handling. 
Dimension Elite Series
The Dimension Elite 3D Printer provides engineers and designers stronger, functional models with finer feature detail and improved surface finish. The Elite features an 8 x 8 x 12-inch build envelope and uses a new, stronger ABS material, ABSplus.
ABSplus is on average 40 percent stronger than standard ABS material, making it ideally suited for testing the form, fit and function of inherently fragile, fine-featured models. The Dimension Elite features the Soluble Support Technology (SST). Read Press Release

The difference is that Dimension SST Printers feature an automated support removal process. You simply remove the model from the system and place it into an agitation bath and a concentrated solution to automatically wash away the support structures. Essentially, the Dimension SST Printers allow for "hands free" printing.
