RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate sales of design automation and engineering data management solutions to manufacturing companies in assigned territory.  The solutionswill primarily include SolidWorks, Cosmos, and PDMWorks software applications, customer training and professional services provided by Texas Engineering Systems, as well as Dimension and Roland Rapid Prototyping machines.
  • Present Solutions to prospects both at the end user and senior management level that focus on solving critical business issues for manufacturing companies.
  • Exceed assigned sales quota for products and services.
  • Represent Texas Engineering Systems with integrity and in a professional manner. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of SolidWorks, Pro Engineer, Solid Edge, Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD or other engineering software applications is a plus.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quota.
  • Ability to build and manage an opportunity pipeline and forecast sales accurately.
  • Exceptional prospecting, cold calling and qualifying skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Experience with CAM, FEA or PDM/EDM/PLM software applications is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to articulate our value proposition as it relates to a prospect’s critical business issues.
  • Familiarity with Engineering, Design and Manufacturing processes and terminology.
  • Ability to develop long term customer relationships and become their trusted advisor.
  • A motivated self starter and quick learner who takes the initiative to get the job done.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • A solution selling style and able to work in a team environment.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years technology solutions sales experience.  Currently selling to manufacturering companies is a plus.

EDUCATION: College Degree or equivalent work experience.  BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.

COMPENSATION: Salary plus Commission.

SolidWorks Applications Engineers.

DESCRIPTION: Duties include conducting SolidWorks and additional product software and/or hardware presentations and technical support. Participate in requirements analysis meetings with new and existing customers. Participate in benchmark programs. Conduct testing, analysis, and archive of customer and prospect’s components, assemblies and drawing files. Provide technical support and classroom training for customers on SolidWorks Mechanical Design Automation Software and other software as assigned. Assist in support and maintenance of PC hardware, operating systems and related software.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Two years industry experience in mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing engineering fields or equivalent; one year SolidWorks experience.

EDUCATION: Four-year technical degree (Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing or equivalent) or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.

REQUIREMENTS: Our company prides itself on superior technical capability and courteous, immediate response to our customer base. This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent customer relations skills. Must have or must obtain the following credentials: Certified SolidWorks Support Technician and Certified SolidWorks Instructor, and Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) credentials. Design Validation/Simulation Products Applications Engineer.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Two years industry experience in mechanical, aerospace, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and kinematic engineering fields or equivalent; one year SolidWorks experience.

Dimension Services Representative
Job Location: Houston, TX Service Area: Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. Some travel required. Product Area: Join the Dimension team! Dimension machines by Stratasys are taking the product engineering world by storm! Dimension rapid prototyping machines make design models in ABS plastic for the product engineer to see and touch. Job Description: Install, maintain and repair customer Dimension machines in the field. Make customer and prospect Dimension parts to specs. Field train customers to operate Dimension machines. Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Dimension machines as needed at customer sites. Maintain Dimension product knowledge to current standards. Work with the company sales force to design Dimension machine demonstrations. Participate in marketing shows as needed. Operate other company rapid prototyping equipment including scanners and digitizing arms. Reports to Tech Manager. Key Qualities: Mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of PC computer assembly techniques. Winning, outgoing personality. Customer service oriented. Qualifications: Associate Degree in a technical field. IT experience is a plus. Basic knowledge of computer networking. Valid DL and a clean driving record. Two to three years of work experience with good references. Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills.
