Software Version Help In most cases, just pull down the Help menu item and choose the item labeled "About", as shown in the image. For example, to identify a SolidWorks version, Service Pack (SP) and serial number, pull down the Help menu and choose "About SolidWorks". The information will be presented to you in a dialog box.
