Software Version Help To obtain software version, Service Pack (SP), date code, and serial number, in most cases pull down the Help menu item and choose the item labeled: "About " For example, to identify the SolidWorks version, Service Pack (SP) and serial number, pull down the Help menu and choose "About SolidWorks…" as shown in the screen shot below.
